A contract opportunity is available for a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students in kindergarten through 8th grade within a charter school setting. This remote 1099 role requires experience in delivering virtual speech therapy services and a commitment to fostering student communication development.
Responsibilities Include
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-8 students
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborating with teachers and support staff to align therapy goals with classroom activities
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with school guidelines
- Engaging in meetings and communicating effectively with parents and school personnel
Qualifications Required
- Valid New York state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably within K-8 educational environments
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders common among school populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
